Throttle Jockey & The Howler

This week we’re sharing more from our new game ‘Into The Mad’ with another character background and we are showing rigs for the first time!

Into The Mad is heavily inspired by Mad Max, and so what would a post-apocalyptic world be without cool vehicles? In our game world, vehicles are called ‘rigs’, and there are 100 to choose from! At character creation you’ll be rolling from 100 character backgrounds and 100 rigs, so there are plenty of options.

The background we’re sharing below is the Throttle Jockey and the rig we’re sharing below that is the Howler. Follow this blog for more updates on game content, rules and playtesting.

Throttle Jockey

Whether defending your lands or leading the charge against enemies, you were the engine of destruction, roaring into battle astride your rig.

Re-roll any failed chase save once; the new result must be used.

Gear

Why Did You Leave?

  3. Rising Tyrant: Dengon Rig-wrecker took control of your gang and cast you out. Pick one player character who also wants revenge on Dengon Rig-wrecker.
  4. Last Raid: A raid went horribly wrong, leaving you the scapegoat. Pick one player character who witnessed the aftermath and stood by your side.

  6. Freedom’s Call: You abandoned loyalty to anyone or anything, seeking the freedom of the open road. Pick one player character who shares your wanderlust.
